A review of a hotel

When my family and I were in Las Vegas, we stayed at a hotel called Palms Place. The hotel was divided in two buildings. The other one had casino and restaurants at the lobby and a bigger pool, but we stayed at the ''regular'' hotel.

We had two rooms, one for me and my little brother and one for my parents. We were at the same floor but me and my brother had suite when my parents had a normal room. At first it was the other way around, but my stepdad always slept over noon, so we decided it would be silly to waste the bigger room for sleeping, so we changed.
The suite was amazing. It had a big balcony that viewed over the city. It had a bathtub and two restrooms, kitchen and a living room and of course a bedroom. It was very nice and comfortable.
The service was good. Especially the food in room service was amazing and arrived fast, luckily. It was perfect when we just wanted to stay in. The staff was kind and thoughtful.
Location was great. We drove from our hotel to downtown in less than 10 minutes. It was good to stay at a hotel out of downtown, because it was very light and noisy there.
I think the pool area was too small for the hotel. There weren't always enough space for us to go there. But usually when this happened, we just walked over to the other building of the hotel and went to its pool area. It was big and fancy.

I could definitely stay at Palms Place again. It was quiet, had a good location and service and the rooms were cozy. I recommend it, if you are looking for something a little more normal and peaceful. And also if you have a car or you are willing to take a cab, because Las Vegas is very hot especially at summer.
But altogether, I recommend it.

A summary of The perks of being a wallflower

The perks of being a wallflower is a movie that was released in 2012. The main characters are Charlie (Logan Lerman), Sam (Emma Watson) and Patrick (Ezra Miller). It was directed by Stephen Chbosky.

The movie is about a boy named Charlie, who starts high school. His best and only friend has recently passed away. He is bullied in his new school -like all the other freshmen. He also has a lot of personal problems, for example, he suffers from anxiety. Later he discovers the real reason for his problems, that is his aunt sexually assaulting him when he was little.

First, he is very lonely in school and works very hard. Then, in one of his classes, a boy named Patrick draws his attention. He is older than Charlie and he always makes jokes in class.
One day Charlie goes to watch a football game and he sees Patrick in the crowd. He sits next to him, talking to him for the first time. A while later a girl sits next to Charlie and is introduced as Sam.

For awhile Charlie is happy. He starts dating one girl from their group of friends, but he is actually in love with Sam. That leads into a difficult situation which results of Charlie breaking up with his girlfriend, making almost everyone in the group angry at him and leaving Charlie alone again.
Charlie manages to gain the groups trust, after he stands up for them in a fight.
After getting his friends back, it's not long until they graduate and leave to go to college. But still they all keep in touch with each other.

I highly recommend this movie to everyone. It has drama and romance and it's funny, but at the same time it's sad, deep and realistic. The great actors make it even more fantastic. It has some beautiful scenes and lines. It also gives a look in some highschoolers life.

Hey Emma!

I am from Finland, and a big fan of your work.

I think you are one of the greatest acctresses. I've watched almost all of your films. My favorites are The Perks of Being a Wallflower and Noah and your performance in Colonia was really amazing. But of course, I like all of your films (that I've seen). I just wish to be as good as you, as an acctress.

I also really appreciate your work in HeForShe and the UNwomen. I think that what you do, is very great and a very good example for younger and older people. I like the fact that you are using your fame to do some good.
Gender equality is a very important subject and it is good that you are working so hard to achieve it.
You have affected in many lives in many different ways, and I admire that so much.

Description of my dog

Sulo is my dog. He is a black cockerspaniel. He is almost 3 years old. We got him three years ago in May.
I chose to tell about him because he is one of the most important things to me and my best friend.

He is kind of a small dog. Or maybe medium size. He is black, as I already mentioned. When he has been trimmed, he looks a bit funny. But sometimes he has a big fluffy fur. He has big paws, bigger than most of the cockerspaniels. People always adore them. He also has a little curly fur. He has a little bit crooked tail.
Even though 3 years old dog is no longer a puppy, I think Sulo is. He is very playful and a little bit stupid. But I love how goofy he is. He likes to break his toys, which is kind of annoying, because once it's broken there are stuffing all over our house. He likes to run and play with us. He also likes food and everytime someone is in the kitchen he sits on the floor and stares at you. It's hard to not give him anything. He also like sleeping and sometimes he curls up with me.

My dog is very, very, important to me and I love him with all my heart. Yes, sometimes he is a little difficult, but that's what dogs do. He is my best friend and I like playing with him.

Hey, my name is Emma and I'm sixteen years old. I live in Vantaa, Rajakylä and I go to school in Sotunki.

My favorite subjects in school are English and psychology. I don't like math, chemistry or physics.

I have many hobbies, but only one official hobby. Theatre. I have practices once a week from five to seven. I really like my group and my instructor. We do a lot of improvisation practices and later we start to plan our own bigger play. I really like acting so theatre is the best hobby for me.

I also have a lot of freetime activities such as listening to music, going out with my dog, reading and writing stories, watching tv (Netflix, Viaplay) and hanging out with my friends.

I like travelling. Me and my family travel a lot, which is nice. We've been to a lot of beautiful places. My favorites so far have been Las Vegas, Florida and Spain.
